These paintings have allowed pupils to consider composition when drawing Hundertwasser inspired landscapes, using line to include pattern. Drawings are worked into with a wax resist technique using wax crayon and tempera paint. Pupils were encouraged to use their knowledge of colour theory to mix an exciting range of secondary colours in different tints and shades and consider including colour schemes such as warm and cool, harmonious and complementary.
