The 2023 shortlist for the Young People's Book Prize 2023 has arrived into our school library. All pupils in key stage 3 will be invited to read the six books and vote for their favourite.
The Young People's Book Prize aims to promote literacy in young people and inspire them to read about science. Archbishop Temple Church of England High School is one of 700 schools, science centres, and community groups taking part. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in March 2024.
The books were shortlisted by scientists, a BAFTA-winning TV presenter and NHS doctor, a teacher, and children’s authors, they whittled down dozens of titles to six of the year’s most fascinating books. We look forward to finding out what our pupils think!
