Thank you for all your kind donations to the Mission Christmas appeal. On Thursday, pupils from year 9 along with Miss Keel and Mr Taberner dropped off the third big donation of gifts for children. The group of year 9 pupils have been volunteering for three weeks to collect and sort all of the Mission Christmas donations in school.

"I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated a gift for a child in need," said Miss Keel, Head of Year 9. "We were given a tour by Mission Christmas volunteers and saw how the donations are sorted into age groups. We were all very moved to see how the older children's units were still very empty compared to the younger. The volunteers shared with us how there are still 7500 children that need gifts."

After volunteering, the pupils were treated to a McDonalds for helping out.

The deadline for toy donations in school is Monday 18th December, but donations can be made using this link until Friday 22nd December.
