Thank you to everyone who wore yellow to school on Thursday to raise money for Hello Yellow, Young Mind's biggest and brightest mental health awareness day of the year, you raised £214. At break the Wellbeing and Anti-Bullying Ambassadors held a cake sale to raise money for the charity. Here are a few words from Emily, in year 9. Take a look at photos from the day, below.
Bake sale to raise money for charity!
On Thursday 10th October, the Wellbeing Ambassadors and Anti-bullying Ambassadors had a bake sale. We raised more than £80 pounds. We will be giving the money that we raised to the Young Minds charity. This money will help so many people who are struggling with their mental health or who are suffering with their health and needs.
We thank everyone who brought cakes from the sale and the people the who brought cakes to sell. The team thank everyone who helped us support this charity we couldn't do it without you and the money will be used for a good cause. If you are struggling you have your Head of Year, friend, family, staff, pastoral team and lastly you have the well-being and anti-bullying ambassadors to come and chat to. Please don’t be afraid to speak to one of us we will always be there to listen and have a chat with you. Thank you from your Wellbeing and Anti-bullying team!
