We were delighted to welcome Anne-Marie from Derian House to school today to launch the charity's £50 challenge. Derian House is year 7's designated charity and the £50 challenge encourages businesses and schools to take £50 and turn it into more.
Year 7 has been allocated £100, £20 per form. Each form will receive £20 from the charity with which they can use to create more funds for Derian House. So, for example, they could buy items with the £20 to sell on for a profit or create a pay-to-enter competition with a £20 prize. All the profits, plus the £20, will be donated back to Derian House.
